When two steady tones are close in frequency, their interference produces amplitude beating near the frequency difference in hertz. This tool shows that difference against the center voice as a useful motion reference.
A real supersaw also depends on oscillator phase, waveform, random drift, stereo architecture, filters and modulation. The numbers describe frequency spacing and idealized beating, not the complete perceived width of a synth patch.
